yeah ... flippy , i noriced you mentrioned chaning servers . do that , but dont change domain name . that way you will , loose PR 5 easily.

thanks for the advice, the servers have been switched I just have to update the indexpage and a few more things now.

flipshark, I think that server change is gonna do loads for your link popularity. I know for myself, I had thought of linking to you before, but couldn't due to those banners and pop-ups. Now I can.

This is completely wrong. The Hg site's coming up with a 4 ranking and I know that I have about 2 sites (and that's a high estimate) linking to my URL.

is coz the domain is not yet in the www.googl.com database . add your link to google first . to do that go to http://dmoz.org and search for a category u wish to be included in and submit it there. Also it would help if you could get some other site which is already into google to link to you . that way , the next time googlebot hits that site , you also habve a chance to be spidered by it. that's howit works normally .

If his domain is not yet in the Google db, then how can he get a ranking at all? And we've been listed with Google for years, not that we have a bunch of sites linking to us, but if you search for hurricane-graphics, we'll be first.

hurricane... you have 3 links showing up to your site and the pages are pr6 pr5 pr4... makes sense that you are at a pr4.

it's quantity and quality of links that is important.If a pr 8 links to you, through a barbque cause that's a happy day for your sites pr and in turn your sites position in the SERP's.
