i just signed the petition, but is it just me?
hi mac forum. have never been here before. hope you guys are well, and i hope my out of state plates are cool (i'm mainly from boardroom land). anyway, i was at the mac store in palo alto the other day (which is a great store btw if you're ever in silicon valley), and found my website to play really slowly. i know this is a known issue but i was wondering if you could clarify for me if it is a particular player issue (r__ version problem) or if it's my site, if it plays slow for your machines, etc. and what i can do to fix it, if anything. thanks.

The Flash player on the Mac has been consistently slower than the PC player since Flash 4; the most recent versions of flash player 6 are getting a little faster.
The one trick that seems to work is to set your frame rate to certian settings, Then at least you know the appx. rate your getting:
fps set to 16-20 reads out -> 15fps
fps set to 21-30 reads out -> 20 fps
fps set to 31 reads out -> 30 fps
fps set to 59+ reads out -> 60 fps
