Looks pretty much the same as when I first saw it. I don't think it's been redesigned.

i like the site. i love the loading animations.

Yeh they've taken the rocket off the side once you go beyond the first page. Looks a bit text heavy and plain deeper in the site although the first page does look sweet. I think this was a pixelranger project along with the xs-engineering. His photoshop work is pretty damn tight.

Passionate about 2A
When I first did the SpaceX site(version 1), SpaceX had nothing more than a bunch of 3D models, their concept schematics, funding, and plans for their product. There was no actual rocket, no pictures of the rocket, nothing more than 3D models to build the site off of. In that time they have now built, tested and fired their first engine module (press release coming soon with pictures) and have moved forward into further stages of building their first proto-type rocket.
Now that SpaceX has finished their rough development and actually built & tested the engine module of their rocket, more press releases and text based information will be launched on the site. This new version is more of a hybrid site allowing them to easily update all of their content, add press releases and photos and also give them the luxury of sending out links to pages in the site and being able to print pages from the site. The initial design of the site was mostly flash based and was mainly intended to simply spread the word about SpaceX the company, and also generate some much needed praise, interest and support from NASA in their early stages of development.
Although it may not look drastically different (branding is still the same look & concept) its structure has changed dramatically. Hope everyone enjoys it. Both versions have been fun little sites for me.

Shane you're not ranting, what's the matter?
Only joking. I like this spaceX site, it's fast and simple to navigate with interesting content.
Any news on the launch of propod.com?
