Thanks in advance for any help.

I want to create buttons that change color after being clicked on and stay that color.
For instance...

button -> blue rectangle
mouseover -> red rectangle
onclick -> green rectangle
after click buttons stays green, so that user can tell what area have been visited and what have not. Feel free to laugh at the simpleton question.
