sorry.. a basic question... but i'm fairly new to flash..

I have been looking for a command in flash that would restrict my movie to it's assigned ratio of 800x600... and there is nothing, as far as i can see...

so, how do you fix the window size....?
do you have to use dreamweaver?
if so, can anyone direct me to a good tutorial, which would explain this process clearly.

Hi there Monkeeboy

if you publish your files using flash, the accompanied .html file can be edited for whatever size you wish for, if you open that .html file, you'll find the words width and height two times, make the same modification and you'll be set, you can do the same trick also from the file menu, goto publish>html, and choose a size for your file.
You can disable the right click menu if you don't want the user to zoom in or do other stuff, goto file>publish>html and uncheck the display menu option.

P.S. while you're in this settings, goto the flash settings and check the option of protect from import, this will prevent people from stealing your art work
