Wildform releases Wild FX 3.0 - a major upgrade to SWfX!

Wildform has just released Wild FX 3.0, a major upgrade to the Flash text animation software, previously sold under the name SWfX.

Wild FX 3.0 comes with 417 built in effects that work with your installed fonts. Creating a text animation is as easy as entering text and selecting an effect.

Among the major new features of Wild FX 3.0 are:
* More than 100 new effects
* 45 customizable effects
* Ability to generate new custom effects templates without requiring any programming knowledge
* Ability to save a settings file
* Ability to add background images, add text fills, gradients and strokes.
* Automatic text justification
* An expanded HTML export option that includes the ability to automatically generate pop-up javascript code
* A host of automated Flash functions such as links, custom variables, looping, on-click actions, etc.
* Completely redesigned interface with drag and drop effects folders.
* Support for double-byte characters such as Japanese and Chinese.

Wild FX is $39 and is available for Windows and Mac. Current SWfX customers may upgrade to Wild fx 3.0 for only $25.

NEW WILD FX EFFECTS SPECIFICATION

Please note that Wild FX uses a new and more powerful effect specification than SWfX. This is how it can have customizable effects. As a result, while Wild FX includes all 303 effects included with SWfX, they have been reformatted and the SWfX version of those effects will NOT work in Wild FX. Only the new Wild FX versions of the effects will work with Wild FX.

If you are a Power FX customer, you will have to download an updated version of the Power FX in order to use them in Wild FX. You can do this at:

If you have your own effects that you made for SWfX you may contact technical support (http://www.wildform.com/support) for assistance in updating your effects for Wild FX. Please be patient as this process will take some time.

The Wild FX installation will not overwrite your SWfX installation, so it will not overwrite your existing effects and you can continue to use SWfX even after you install Wild FX.
