is there any command/external command that can allow you to change a computers resolution from whatever it is to whatever you want.
for example, i have a flash projector that can only be run at 1280x1024 however the resolution of the user is set at 800x600. can i change their resolution to 1280x1024 when my projector starts up and restore it to 800x600 when it closes.
please help me!

In the first frame of the movie put a FS command and set the property to be "fullscreen" and the argument to be "true" or just use the little drop down list at the bottom of the FS command dialog. This will scale the projector file to fit the screen on any computer. Regards, Bill

generally this can only be done through a low-level programming language like "c" or "c++" or even assembler... this is not something you would normally want to do (for a lot or reasons) and network scripting languages such as javascript deliberately exclude commands that allow you much in the way of control over the users system (or even his browser now)
