Not that I am discounting it as a worth feat, but... why not one's mile time, or their heart rate at rest? What about their VO2 max threshold.. ?
The bench press is mostly the standard measure for weight lifters, for long distance runners it is the X minute mile, for swimmers time / lap, speed runners 100m dash speed, etc.
As for heart rate at rest, I don't think that is a good measure, because is varied so much for different people. IE some marathon runners have a heart rate at rest of 20 BPM while others (who compete just as often and as well) have 60BPM

You should see a doctor.
You'd get bigger gains if you don't go everyday.

well before I started going to the gym, I, well...lighted j's with my friends after school. Then I got tired off the fact that it was making me a complete idiot, but I couldnt stop. So I took up running. I ran like 14 miles with one of my friends(He was straightedge so he hated every drug there is) every sunday, then started running a couple miles everyday. Then I just joined my local gym, started running, working out, and didnt feel the need to light up anymore. I got my wits back, dont get my ass kicked in the moshpits anymore, and it just feels a lot better. What would going to a doctor get me anyway?

I can only postulate the probability of performing at a paramount level of perfection praised by the pulchritudinous paragon whose only practice is to preserve such a paradigm.

I also find weeding the garden equally stressing

Work sucks
I go to the gym 4-5 times a week.
I try to get my workout done in just over an 1hr. I just find 1 & a half hour too long.
I admire the size in that pic in the first post, but I wouldn't wanna look like that, it's just too big for me. I don't know, maybe just more muscular & cut up than them blokes on the cover of Men's Health.
I gotta start jogging again or some other cardio exercise like swimming maybe to lose some of the kilos & body fat I've put on since November last year. I'm 78-80 now & I hope to get down to around 72 by the end of the year.
For now, I'll just keep bulking up at the gym & if I'm happy with my gains, I'll start the cutting phase.
