How do you create the lines for the parts where lines are drawn and pictures fill in? Is it by hand or is there something that helps?

Masking and high frame rates. Just make sure you use high frame rates or it wont be so smooth. Then the windows etc are new clips no doubt. and so on and alot of masking.
Also PS is great for making the photo into a simple sketch. Heck alot of the line work can be done inside flash, all if you have a tablet. But the buildings etc would be easy to draw with a mouse.

You think so? I've always founded rather simple to get this effect with illustrator and flash. Illustrator's pen tool just seems to flow better for me. 
To stay on topic, the intro is sick. That is all.

What version you use? I stopped using it a year ago pissed me off. Then again didnt have a tab at time.

Was using 8 at work for the longest. Finally got ver. 10. Seems that 10 is missing features from 8 and vice-versa...haha. I love it though.
