its ok...I dont dig the morphing bg photos or the colors, but I like the music and the melting photo transition (even though it could have been done better)

kurtnoble is usually hit or miss...I think of this as a miss

I think the last 5 sites that I have seen from Kurt Noble seem to all be music sites. I wouldn't complain on being able to get all that money for what thesite he does, but they all seem to be cookie-cutters. From a design point if you see one, you have seen them all. This one is ok. I think it is nice, but I would like to see something different design wise....

If you're picking up more clients within a niche (like music biz in this case) it means you are impressing people, so props to KNI.

I think the site gives the impression of being less than it is, there's actually a fair bit of content and toys in there. I don't think they slapped it together on the weekend, know what I mean? That generally grungy band site look has become rather prevailant lately, I think that industry needs a fresh dose of something or other, much like that music style needs a wake-up call.

For people who specialize on Audio based sites for bands..why not control the sound rather than it just cutting out when you click a new audio link? A simple fade out..then load the new track would be much more tasteful and is easy to do. Thats my only beef with it.

    Cool transitions

i like the site, mostly the transisitons.
i dont think it would of made much of a diffenre if the songs either faded out or jus cutting off like they have, ur just expecting to listenin to the next song anyway. its just not needed for tracks change.

the fading would have been a nice touch but i agree with kony2003 it's not needed just a detail depending on the designers personal touch i guess, i'm sure that if they wanted to do it they would have.

its a matter of polish....after creating enough websites you begin to notice shortcuts designers take in their work...its like a sixth sense. the lack of a fade out and fade in is just that...a shortcut. you all noticed that a year or two ago winamp launched a version that faded tracks in and out even when shutting the prog down in the middle of a song. fading is just a much more pleasing way to end a song....most sound effects fade out if you think about it too...just might be in 1/100th the time. its natural, and its unnatural to have an abrupt end to a song, which can detract however slightly on a users experience....and once you know it is detracts, how can you consciously ignore implimenting it during development?

    just my thoughts....

i dunno what CD Players or car stereo you have but when i press the button for the next track on mines, it cuts off and goes to the next, pretty natural, but thats just an example away from a site with tracks.

Nice transitions, although they do loose their appeal after 3 clicks. I'm getting sick of these mini sites that KN is doing, I wanna see more full scale projects.

i dont think most of their clients need or want full scale sites. I think thats what there good at, its all just informational stuff.
