    Template check

    Hi,

Im building 3 sites for the company my brother-in law works for / is assosiated with.

I have does the splash page, 1 site template and 1 link from that site.

I would just like another opinion on it :d and I thought the best place would be here.

    The site is http://www.oldman01.fsnet.co.uk/files/rgfrancis/

Industrial and Commercial works, and inside that Company History works.

    thanks

    Karl.

Do you have photoshop? Cause if you dont you really should consider getting some type of professional graphics program. You might even want to consider a partener, I got a good friend and he does the graphics, and I make the thing work. If you want I can give you loads of photoshop sites.

Almost forgot to comment: It looks okay, but, dark grey = ugly and the place needs a better logo. Try a lighter shade of grey. You can try a shade of #BCBCBC (Don't ask how I know the hex code) But that would look much better. For the letters #0066CC (looked in photoshop for that one) or #0066FF (Almost baby blue). FOr t he buttons, try this red instead: #CC3300 or #993300 (Darker) or even white #FFFFFF.

Hope this helps you. Oh, and for the other buttons where you have pictures, move them above the logo, and make a navagation bar (If you don't know how I can help) Whew! I made a site like that a while ago, but I am much better now. Check out my site.

Their site does not reflect the limitations of the program... It's very good.

Hehe thanks, I have the gimp on my Linux box.

I used Photoshop 7 for this.

The company wants it very basic, and this is how they wanted it. I just wanted other opinions

slight changes will be made like colour etc

    thanks,

    Karl.
