Pixels to Percent (Dreamweaver)
Hi,
Im currently using Dreamweaver MX and designing a website (obviously). Now - the website looks best in 1024x768 but I want to it automatically adjust to small screen res's.
I thought the better or easier (maybe) way to do this was to change the size (pixels) into percentages. Im currently using tables in design view etc to create the page.
How do I go about doing this ?
Thanks,
Karl.

are you using flash as well?

Percent will take up the same amount of screen space on any computer.. any resolution.
Pixels is a set size, it will look different on different resolutions.
So it works for all resolutions make your site 750px wide.
Hope this answers your question,

my question about flash is that if you are using it, your images and text will not look as good if you scale the flash movie to certain percentages. a flash movie looks best at fixed dimensions.

Yea, you cant change the size of the orginal SWF.
You need to start with the correct settings so it will work for all resolutions.
