stupid question / xp and msblaster

ok, i'm going to download the ms patch for msblaster

cause i forgot to do it for my laptop with xp (only did it for my pc). Anyway, i realized there are 2 patches for XP: one for a 32 bit edition and the other for the 64 bit edition. I didn't know there were two kinds of xp's.

How can i know what edition do i have? 32 or 64, where can i check that?

well, is your computer 32 bit or 64 bit? majority are 32 as 64 just came out and is expensive.

XP home editon, and XP professional.

it's compaq evo 610C i guess it's 32bit.

I know they're usually 32. I thought only macs were going to be 64, but i wasn't sure. So there are 64 bit pc's now? cool

yea, unfortunatly, Intel only lets HP use the Itanium 2. But thats why you see all those new HP adds everywhere

Wot, Intel only lets HP use Itanium 2...why? I also thought there was a Xeon 64bit.

i meant for the hardware.

And XP home edition is a joke. It sucks!

xeon is used for dual processors and whatnot. either way, I think the itanium would kill it.
