some flash game links
ok, 2 flash games...
the first one is (unfortunately for the most of people here) in french, but it's damn so cool! have you seen the gfx when you control the character? i love it!!! you should really take a look at this...
too bad they didn't make it smoother simply by adjusting the fps sequence. oh, it's a RPG, and just that is quite interesting.

Marmotte, I havent even done anything yet but that RPG looks great. What's the story with it? Why can't everyone be like you and make their games multilanguage.

the translation was surely not perfect though... hey magnetos, you translated it in italian, don't forget! :-)
about the story, apparently the main character have that dream, with the girl falling down. then he wakes up, but don't know where he is. so he/you wander around, and encounter that character that tells you something like: "hey, what are you doing here? go to work!" but you understand nothing, recognize nobody...
have you seen, you may save and load your game in the inventory screen :-)
oh, and the main character seems to have a medalion with a know drawing on it (well, another character in the game told me so)... the last time i played, i was in front of a broken bridge, then later inside a cavern, adjusting some levels (i didn't succeded it though)...

I think the roughness of it works well with the overall look. It's absolutely wonderful with tons of charm and definitely does not feature the "flash" look.
I don't remember being able to "Tiger Uppercut" combo people across the screen. 
It's pretty good.. (Yours is much better...even at it's beta stage...)

also, i wasn't able to do any hadoken... but that game is not bad after all... i like that "screen is freezing effect" when you hit/are hit... (mine for now is a little bit more interactiv i think)
Yours is much better...even at it's beta stage...
thanks. i have a surprise: i'm rewritting the engine entirely. well, it's some kind of bad/good new... but i added several things, like variable jump height depending on how long you press up, and super jumps when you are running/escape. it's kinda frustrating to have a very well working game, and then having the rewritten version that cannot do 1/10 of it at this stage of devlopment... but i'm still motivated.

Hakoden ken and Sho-Ryu-Ken and Hurricane Kicks are done by pressing two keys at once.
I.E. (Hadoken is A + S, A + D, or S + D, Sho-Ryu-Ken is while holding down press the same keys... Kicks are Z, X, C.. Press Z + X, Z + C, or X + C for the Hurricane Kick...)
The "Healing" health bar was very annoying as well... 
Variable jumps? You're going KOF aren't you.

maybe not KOF, more last blade...
because i started to convert some last balde characters... zantetsu (the ninja-like) is almost finished, but i had to rip by myself a lot of the character's animations, they were missing. that was a long job, but indeed i have now all the moves, including his counters (i implemented it in my game, so now it's more strategic)... well, you surely know what i'm talking about :-)
damn, with the new engine i'm writing, i'm heading to convert yuki as test character. she has 1800 gifs!!!!

yes, 1800 gifs. now that i converted them into png, i see there are sometimes 2 characters...? damn, plus it's the evil version of her, i want the original one... too bad.
last blade1/2 are an excellent game, believe me... are you working on a fighting game now?

Shooting game won the poll and so I'm developing a shooting game...
BUT I have the plans for about three - five different type of fight games (ranging from Samurai Showdown type to Final Fight brawling games)... 
What can I say... I'm the type of guy who brainstorms 100 ideas and never finishes them... 
I am also starting to plan an ISO engine for a very large SRPG game. (Mostly because I'm TOTALLY addicted to Disgraea: Hours of Darkness... THAT GAME RULES! COMBO ATTACKS RULES! GIANT SPECIAL ATTACKS RULES! THROW FRIEND AND/OR FOES RULES! THE DARK SENATE AND ITEM WORLD ARE CRAZY MAD FUNKY! MID-BOSS! ETNA! FIONNE! d00d! )

(well thrown in the sense that xenogears and evangelion have a lot of similarities)
great game btw. one of the best i have ever played. great playability, and it seems i'll have to play a lot to see the ending. i like that freedom sensation, and the AI is well developped. i'm waiting for the sequel now!

About Disgraea:
I never played too far into FF Tactics because the FoxiGoth (the girl I borrowed it from) never solved it and so I couldn't buy it off her. 
Disgraea is a bit more crazy than FF Tactics because there is a ton of strategy to learn. You can do combo attacks when people are either mentor/pupil relationship (you have to have characters create soliders to fight). Since all the characters need to be near one another, you can move pupils in the range of the mentor, have the mentor attack...the pupils go in for a combo attack and then you can CANCEL the pupils move and have them fight somewhere else. I love the fact that until you say Excute, End of Turn and/or there's an E over your character, you can keep cancel the action and do something else...
Throwing is also a very crazy game play element. You can pick up ANY character on screen and toss them around the screen. This allows you to backstab enemies (by doing massive stacking), cross pits quickly, throw a damaged character to safety, or throw a monster into another monster making tougher enemies (good for leveling up.)..
I don't full understand the GEO PRISM system, and so I'll just stop now...
In short... If you can find it and you love power gaming (You can reach level 9999) and strategy.. GET THIS GAME.
