    3dmax vs Maya - For who ?

I have used both and i really need you guys opinion since i have just tried trial programs and i am fairly a new beginner.

    3dsmax:

Easy to use actually, but the camera control is kinda ackward i think.. you can move around in the viewport, you have to move the objects ? maybe i am wrong, but none the less.. complicated movement . But it is very easy to create stunning effects by drag and drop actually...very understandable material editor and gotta love that effects and enviroment toolbar ! 3dsmax tends to be a bit buggy as well in viewports, sometimes the grid just disappaer 50% :O

    maya:

Fast loading and you dont see any viewport bugs at all... extremely easy to navigate and manipulate your objects ..you just rotate objects with your mouse and move around which gives you total control over the scene. BUT ! Maya seems to be more comples of a system , hyperblast i guess is maya`s material editor which is a bit hard to understand at first...and then you got the visor where you can apply crazy effects ...and with maya you can create realistic particle systems which simulates water, fire, wind, storms ...you name it ... you can basicly do the same with 3dsmax but it isnt near as realistic as maya`s and with maya you get realistic moving water after 10 seconds !

    ...............

Well this was a beginners P.O.V and i wanna hear you guys opinion and experience ?

I've argued the point many times in other threads. Try doing a search.

well i used maya but i dont like it much.....perhaps i used 3D max a lot...not to forget maya can make good stuff...realistic..but working a little harder in max can give u the stuff as well...
i think Maya is good for modeling it has the sculpting tools...
but again i have started using MAX for character modeling..i find max easier...perhaps the camera problem u are having u are not using it rite...
i think(my opinion) if u are a 3D beginner MAX should be the start...but again it all depends on how hard you work....for me i started 3D with max.
