I tried to open the eve.com.fla file I downloaded from this site with Flash4 and it told me Unexpected File Format. Why does this happen? I open other flas with no problems.. but I did create an FLA from work on Flash4 and couldn't open it from my home machine. Even if it were done in Flash5, it should be backwards compatible right?
Please explain. Thanks!

You can't open a flash 5 file in flash 4.
Maybe the file was corrupted/traunched during the download?
Whats the url of the file?

well now I know why... it was this file:
http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Inter...05/index.shtml which is a Flash5 file. I have Flash5 but am more comfortable with Flash4...
