    Mouse! Where are you!!?

    Why does my mouse dissapear sometimes, say if I don't move it and I'm scrolling? It just dissapears completly.

    any idears?

    Is it a wireless mouse? Mine used to do the same thing and even when I moved it it would'nt come back, I would need to click. So if it is change you mouse settings so it dosnt go to sleep.

    my aunt's computer does that too. it's definatly not a hardware problem.

    check your mouse setting to make sure that you don't have "hide mouse" on some settings... like typing, what not.

    via control panel > mouse

    Please see to it that you do not stick to the computer for long, else you might have to face the same problem, faced by me. Please... This is a request. My mouse died due to this problem. I had to purchase a new one. I know you would not believe it, hence I took a snap shot of my dead mouse from my camera and have posted it here. I request you to mourn for my dead mouse.

    depends on the kind of mouse...

    I just had to revert back to my 4-button logitech because the wiring in my Microsoft Optical continously cut out and made my pointer disappear.. I drew the line when I had to tape the cord in a fashion to prevent it from moving.

    I have an optical mouse that I cannot use on my laptop, becouse it does something extremly annoying. Every now and then it moves very fast to the upper right corner performing mouseclicks. Programs askes for confirmation if documents arent saved, but you can imagine the aggression that it generated when I was writing an email or a post and the moron mouse just closed the browser. Grrrr!
