    [betatest] Splitted Images

    hi there,

    i know i should've used a subject like "iso rpg" or "hittest question" but ...

    anyway. I've learned my lesson again. there are no "just a week of work" games for me. so after a lot more weeks than i planed i can now (proudly) present "Splitted Images".

    basically you'll just have to push the parts of an image around to complete it again ... (easy!)

    but ...

    moving a tile:
    move the cursor above it press the mouse button and drag it to the direction you want the tile to move to.

    could you tell me the fps/score/eventually if you know: the level you were in?

    things i know:
    -no sound till now
    -sometimes after you've comletted a level the game get stuck ...
    -there are only 15 of the 30 levels online
    -most of the levels need to be timed (or changed at all), so could you tell me if you think a level was to hard, or there was to little time to complete it.

    oh, and the url:
    Server 1 (this server sometimes is killed by another idiots script, but it has a highscore in it. BUT: when the server is killed when you load the next level ... you're out and have to start again ...)

    Server 2 (no database support, but should work ALWAYS)

    thanx in advance, <olli/>

    Great game, very addictive, the problem I had that some tiles wouldn't slide all the way to the side but just stoppen halfway.

    I like it a lot, very nice concept and presentation!

    thanx guys,

    @MTEV:
    yes, i forgot to mention this bug, i'm still after it, but i think that i have located that niffty little piece of code which is responsible for this, now...

    i still need some feedback on leveldesign, so it would be nice if someone would state if it is too hard or if there is enough time and so on ...

    :)

    Hey,

    That's a great game! Very original...

    It's very hard to complete within the time... maby you should use 1 big image wich is splitted in smaller ones, instead of a lot of sepperate images... SO it makes it easyer to see where a piece goes...

    Well, I would suggest making at least 1 or 2 emtremely simple levels. That way people that are new to your game, or people that just have a hard time playing it, get the change to get a decent score and enjoy your game.

    You could also make a strategy mode or something, remove the time limit, just give a higher score for quickly completing a level or for using as little moves as possible.

    hi,

    thanx again for the great feedback

    @SaphuA:
    i really didn't get that ... each level is one image ... so ... anyway, you could try another imageset (the carl barks set should be the simplest)

    i just uploaded a modified level xml with more time ...

    regards <olli/>

    hi,

    @mrpauly99:
    d*mn! i realy haven't thought of "split personalities" as a started the game , i knew that i had seen something like that years ago. i had a look at the original c64 game and they indeed are very similar.
    SH*T!
