Retired Mod
I used to run a site called aversiontherapy.com and started using aversion as a screen name then (mostly in quake games). Someone on the board, not naming any names, actually thought my last name was aversion when I spoke to them on the phone.
and before anyone tries it my password is not 'therapy'!!

Miles Aversion

Mom said "make me a Mod"
Well the name says it all
who was it that said "if everything I don't know transfers to money, I'd be the richest person on earth" Mark Twain I guess
actually I used the name first in a linux forum, and it kinda stuck there
other names, Madamido, DD77, and Joe Black on UT and SS2nd encounter and the like
actually you'll find that madamido registered in this very site like a long time ago, I should've been a Mod by now

Didn't do it.
I came up with my handle while I was spending my junior year abroad in Japan; I needed a hotmail address where my family and friends could get ahold of me, so I wanted something simply that they could easily remember. So, japan (where I was) and greg (my first name) = japangreg.
I really thought that explanation would sound a lot cooler than it does...
I pretty much use it everywhere, although I also go by Rook_Alpha, or Rook someplaces (based on a character in a comic I created when I was in college... god, I'm such a geek)

Living Proof
My real name is Mick Davies
Which became Mavies Davies
Which became Mavies
Which become Mavis
Which become Mave
Which become Mave the Rave
This was some time ago when I was young and a bit nutty.
Now I am old and really sensible.
But I kind of like the old Nick name.
Although it is no longer used outside of Flash Kit.
If I were to reunite with some old friends, no doubt they
would still remeber me affectionately as Mave
If someone tells you it can't be done,
it's probally because they don't know how.

Ali is my nickname, W is 1st letter of surname. Easy to remember (for me anyway!).
Sometimes used without underscore, I think that was already taken.

I really do look pretty funny in my car, especially since I can't put the seat back the last inch and half due to the roll bar.

I wish my name was different, but since I signed up 2 years ago, I haven't changed it.
I use to play starcraft under the name Kaclin'Magoo, friend was Puffin'Magoo, and we owned, unbeknownst our gay names. Then I just shortened it to Kac cause the other was too long.
I go by Satara in CS and on MSN. Comes from The Count of Monte Cristo, also means driftwood in spanish.
If i had it my way, my fk name would be cozypants.
