    i like the vBulletin non-flash forums much better --- sooo much cleaner and nicer

    Hi,

    In my opinion, both are equally good. I use both, and find them useful. Ultrashock's tutorials are better (again, only in MY opinion), I learnt how to integrate xml with flash from there... then again, people on flashkit tend to be more helpful, and you get answers faster... sometimes.

    you may also want to try www.were-here.com, it's also a flash-related website like flashkit and ultrashock.

    In my opinion Actionscript.org is the best site for ascript and got the cleanest design. Ultrashock looks better than FK but I hate the flash menu, its not needed. But they got more professional tutorials plus less advertisements. I guess ill go with Ultrashock. But when it comes to forums i would pick Flashkit, I dunno why but the grey color of Ultra Shock is kinda dull.

    I used to post at US and they do have some quality tutes, but the forums are horrible to use. I used to shift click a forum link and it would open in a new window, stretching across the available space, then, despite the dull 'colours', it was usable and I thought the people on there were cool.

    But I haven't posted there in ages, I don't know what the people are like, but I do know that you can't open the forums in their own window anymore, scripting forces the frameset on you (I assume because the ads have to be visible) and I really just can't work in that tiny space (at the res I use).

    We have more ads for obvious reasons.

    it is beautifully put together and there are a lot of skillful people behind it, but I don't like using those forums.

    I voted for Flashkit.com, but still, Ultra Shock made some really good Flash MX 2004 articles which helped me a lot, but the fk flash mx forums have helped a lot more overall. So I would say its pretty even.
