Controversy over naked sushi in Seattle
SEATTLE, Washington (AP) -- Promoters insist it's performance art. Detractors say women are getting a raw deal.
Whatever the case, the controversy over the Bonzai nightclub serving sushi on nearly naked women isn't about to fade anytime soon.
"It's dehumanizing, the manner in which people are buying and selling sushi to be eaten off a woman's body. It's dehumanizing to be treated as a plate," said Cherry Cayabyab, president of the local chapter of National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum.
If the club persists, she and other activists plan to launch a media campaign -- apparently the first organized opposition to naked sushi in the United States.

An Inconvenient Serving Size
I think the only problem I have with this is that the fish must get warm in only a few minutes.
Defeats the purpose of a sushi chef needing to have cold hands to prepare the dish, but hey, if you're gonna have to eat your food off of a nearly naked woman covered in Saran Wrap, that's the price ya have to pay.
I say nearly naked for the American version. You know in Japan that the girl is as al fresco as it gets.
Stupid women's groups - if they had their way, every woman would be a brow-beating, tweed-wearing, mothball-smelling, harcore feminist librarian.

naw, bottoms are still needed... never figured out if it were for health/sanity reasons, or due to their culture.
showing the pubic region is real taboo in mainstream Japanese culture.
