Flash Volume Control in Quicktime Movie

i can't seem to get a flash volume controler to work in a quicktime movie. everything else works: start, stop, rewnd, pause, scrub bar.. all made in flash and exported to control a quicktime movie.

i have seen a flash volume slider in a quicktime movie before, but can't seem to figure out how it was done.

anyone know how to do this?

Is the audio you are attmpting to control in the Flash layer or the QT file?

Allright, that's a bit more complicated then. Check the www.totallyhip.com website, if they don't have the info you need on how to do this - let me know, and I'll start digging through some of my old QT books.

are you refering me to hip flix? that looks like it is a quicktime movie making program. how will it help me add volume controls using flash?

maybe i didn't clerify what i'm trying to do that good.

i am making quicktime movies and adding a flash track to them, which will act as the controler for the movie, instead of using quicktimes controls. i am trying to figure out how to add a flash volume control for the qt. all the other flash track controls i have made work great.

    thanks.

No, Live Stage Pro. Sorry, it's been awhile since I did anything with QT/Flash in Live Stage.

They have a support forum with tutes on how to do this - it's basically FS commands. Maybe download their Demo, it has tutes with it - I know they have one on sound control.

Like I said, if you can't find what you need there, let me know - I may have an older manual of their's with a tute.
