    text anti-aliasing

I imported a file from illustrator.. or rather, exported the file to swf and imported it to flash mx 2004.

the text of the movie will not anti-alias.

i have tried turning the alias button both on and off, neither has any effect.

on a side note, the text is supposed to rotate, and it does, in flash, but not when i look at it in flash player or html.

i am using a mac.. and i am using safari, so that might be my problem, but if it isn't, i'd like to fix this problem.. cleartype font doesn't exactly look good.. with what i'm doing..

added - IE anti-aliases the text, but still doesn't rotate the text

sounds as if the text wasn't brought in as text but rather as a shape. this would render the 'alias text' option useless.

well.. i found out the aliasing problem.. but now.. the text doesn't appear until the end of the spin.

so.. it spins when i look at it in flash, but not when i publish it and view it.

it's like it's dynamic text.. but.. it isn't.. it won't tween.. it just appears at the final keyframe.

press on the character button (if u don't use static text) and select one of the embedding options. i think it's called something else in f5, can't remember, but it's located in the character panel
