Import image from PS without a background!

I am trying to import a logo into Flash MX (OS X) but I cannot get the bg to be transparent. Can anyone help??

Deselect background layer in Photoshop. Goto Save for Web and save as png24 . Check the transparency option.
Import to Flash.

It worked great with removing the background but the quality of the image is horrible. I have it at 300DPI at actual size. Do you have any ideas of how I can adjust the quality?

Images should always be 72 dpi in Flash.
You can adjust the image quality in Flash ( the jpg compression ) or set it to its original format ( png ). Doubleclick the image in the library ( or go into the image properties ).
