Can't see the current site for some reason but yours looks pretty good. I'd like to see the ski theme carried out a little more in it. Right now you have the header and that one picture and I think that you can utilize the left area a little bit to add some life to it. It's to big and red as it stands now and causing the eye to jump to that.

About the header, it is good but it could be MUCH more interesting and I know you are capable of that. The logo is just text now (don't know if you are adding that later or what) and it is not emphasized enough. It took a while for me to finally read it.

Overall I think it is solid but definatly not finished. With a little more time I think you will get it. Nice start though, very promising.
