    enjoy!!

don't forget to visit www.ipodlounge.com, there are some great little apps you can download to use with it. I personally like the google news feature and the volumeboost ones

Do you mean in hours from one charge or its life time?

In hours, it lasts about 8.

Some people have complained that the lifetime of the battery only lasts 18 months. But I've only heard 2 people ever complain about that.

    I could be the third.

However, I purchase an extended warranty with my iPod. So about each 12-14 months, I get a new one.

for what I paid last time, I'm getting a 40gb

"battery life span can range from approximately 2 or 3 to 8 or 9 years." - um... how long has the iPod been available?

    as an update, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/3477497.stm

there were actually 5 class action suits filed in december against apple regarding this.

who knows, people seem to be more litigious than ever these days. At least it's not as ribaldingly stupid as that woman who's suing because she saw janet jackson's breast.

    dumb dumb dumb.

Now that is the definiton of opportunistic.

Do you think that if this woman was to look down once in a while, she would end up suing herself?
