    Spockbert

    I thought I'd give London another try this weekend. After a 12 hour drinking session in Islington, Hoxton and Shoreditch my only conclusion is that I just don't get it.

    What's the attraction ?

    Every street looks like a run down area of Bradford.

    that was exactly it.

    I mean I went to all the supposedly "happening" bars and clubs, and all I saw were idiots with mullets spending their giro's on over priced beer.

    Ha! Classic.. which bars did you go into? I know what you mean about that area although there are a few alright boozers around there..

    You want to try going out in clapham - it's just as bad but in more of a "ohhh look at me, I live in clapham" sort of way rather than - "ohhh look at me, I work in hoxton" sort of way...

    It's spreading as well - couldn't get into my local in balham yesterday 'cause it was full of three wheel pushchairs....

    You sure you didn't just end up in Leeds? I went out (we should go for a pint at some stage too) to the Elbow Room, mullets and £2.70 for a pint up here.

    Hehehe... I'm going down for Valentines weekend... we'll mainly be going to seedy little Jazz bars though... the only place you can get decent Jack & Coke and avoid the mulleted shorditch tw@s

    twelvestone are meeting up in New York first weekend in June. Fancy a trip out there ?
