Problem with Drawing Tool in Flash 5 NEED HELP BADLY

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a drawing tool problem in Flash 5.
If I am drawing a square or Circle, I do not see the outline as it is being drawn. All I see is a cross hair. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this. It works fine on two other computers but can't get it working a third. This is quite annoying as you can imagine. I am currently guessing at the size of my shapes. What can I do to fix this.
