Anyone fancy themselves as a bit of a spin doctor? Could you pass as an art critic comfortably? If so...
PLEASE HELP ME!
I've had two months to do an art assignment, so obviously I had to leave it until the day before to start it. Its due tommorow and I've made a start on it I was just wondering if someone could tell me what it means.
We have to tell our teacher what it represents etc. with the main theme being emotive colour... the colors that we used and how they represent the emotions in the painting.
I did what I did because they were stencils and stuff I had lying around, but could someone put a meaning behind it?
[size=1]Also, I have to put in another face so if you have any ideas...
You're going to put in another face? Hmm... I don't know about the colors, but you could put a female on the left. Then say it's a mother and father over their child, telling the child to get their life together, which sort of fits in with the clock... I'm just throwing you ideas, here, nothing great.
Originally posted by fospher.com I suggest a 1950's post war baby bloomer dad in a wifebeater pointing the finger at the kid, shouting.
A child representing pre-war American depression, the dad telling it(analogy:America) to get it together, and get to work.
That is some cool BS
seriously
Ok I thought that it was about time passing by and the guy on the bottom is hesitant-hence the vibrations-about where to go in life and so, then there's the guy on the right with colors similar to those of the clock, hence he's trying to help, and you can add another face on the left with different negative colors denoting the fatal attractions in life, the procrastinations and so on, bla bla bla...

You know MAD magazine, there was this issue with a guy who wrote a 2 paragraph essay on his summer vacation in his grandpa's pigs farm, and he was 5 years old, and he took it all the way to his PhD same topic just modifying it, needless to say I used some of the techniques in Uni, I got straight A's and A+ in Psychology due to this technique
It's amazing how easy it is to pass art history courses without ever knowing a thing about art history. I'm finishing with a 4.0 in Film History and I still don't know why any of the films we watched are important.
As far as I'm concerned, a cigar is always a cigar
Step aside kids, I have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Organizational Communication Learning and Design. If that's not a degree in bs I dunno what is.
The dude on the right is obvisouly a goth or something. Not only is he wearing lipstick, red and blue make purple, a notoriously goth color. So he's torn between anger and sadness.
Given that the background is green, much like the planet Halo, and his conflict lies between red and blue, I'm going to say he just got his ass handed to him by his girlfriend in a CTF match. Is he angry at losing, or sad to be beaten by a girl? According to the clock it took a bit over 10 minutes.
She's all badass now hanging her hair over her head in some primevil heaving breathing pattern thirsting for blood, 'cause now she knows she has her lipstick wearing man on the ropes.
She's also standing reminiscient of Samus Aaron from the beginning of Metroid, a key female role model in video games, thus taking on the role of the feminine videogame superhero superior.

in the timeless, tortured, half-seen jungle that is our inner life, some things stand clear, others half-formed, but all are illusionary. The laughter of ghosts may sound real, but do not be fooled, it's all in your head.

Insanity is just a point of view. After all, the world looks pretty normal through your own underpants.
