    video imports, audio doesn't

I've imported a MPG4 file into Flash MX. The video imports but the audio doesn't, or at least it doesn't play when I "test movie".

When importing, I choose "Embed Video in Macromedia Flash Document"

then I leave "Quality" "Frame Interval" and "Scale" at the defaults, (100%, 24, and 100%).

Synchronize Video and Import Audio are both checked.

Any thoguhts as to how I can solve this?

    Thanks

    sound

i'va just ahd the same problem. when i imported video it played with no sound in the .fla. But when i saved it and opened/saved t as a .swf it workwed. Try rebooting, re-importing and then save to your desktop and double click on the .swf. That is all i can offer - i'm no whizz at flash i'm afraid

i'm not sure if avi will work. Can you get access to Final Cut Pro 4? If you can, or can get the video exported as a .flv, you're laughing!

i'm trying to get an mpg w/ mpg 1 compression into a flash movie but the audio won't import as well. i get an error on the import screen.

do you think this has to do w/ the video or is it a bug in flash???
