24 Recap: Thoughts?

Ok hockyfan, PAlexC, et al, let's talk about this season's 24. What did you guys think? I liked the finale a lot, but overall, i'd say this season was 3/3 in my favs. list. I don't know, I just wasn't "hooked" like I was in seasons 1 and 2.

Haha, well if Kiefer keeps making some money, I think we'll see quite a few more.

I'm pretty sure this was the last season. That is why the didn't end it with some big cliffhanger like Jacks wife and Palmer the previous 2 seasons

I liked the whole season, except the final episode...seems like they just kind of decided...ok - out of time. Lets find the virus, get rid of it...end the show now type of thing.

I read in the paper the other day that they do want to have another season, but Palmer is out, Chase is out, Tony and his wife are out, the daughter (much to MY chagrin) will have a very limited role, as she is busy making bad movies that she looks really hot in. I think this is probably the reason behind no cliffhanger, so to speak. No one, short of Kiefer, will be back...no cliff to hang on to!

There's no 'maybe' about it. Fox has picked up a 4th season and Keifer has already reupped his contract. The catch? The new season won't start until January 2005. But on the plus side, Fox will air all 24 episodes consecutively, so none of these six week gaps that plagued the first three seasons.

Some rumors floating around: Season 4 will be a prequel to Season 1, with Nina Myers, Jack's wife Chappelle, Sherry and 'Senator' Palmer each reprising their roles. Another rumor is that Keifer moves to CTU New York and commits his wacky hijinx there, which would explain the limited roles of Michelle Dessler, Tony and the rest of CTU LA (face it, L.A. can only be a terrorist target so many times.)

Sorry I'm so late on this thread...as usual.

I was surprised, but dissapointed that Saunders was taken down so "easily", then again, it proved to be an interesting twist. I was almost expecting in the last scene for Jack's nose to start bleeding, then again, that would almost make it predictable.

On the season as a whole, I was hoping to get some more information about Jack and Saunders' history, specifically why Saunders lost it.

And lastly...where was Mandy?? Remember she's been in both of the previous seasons, showing up at the end of season 2 to poison the president. And speaking of, what ever happened to that (I believe) French guy who called her up and told her to "begin Phase 2", at which time she went and shook Palmer's hand, etc. Hmm..couple of loose ends they must have missed.

Anyway, good season nonetheless, although the previous two were a bit better.
