I'm trying to re-create this menu effect. I am sooo close.

I'm having pbobelms with 2 things...

1. How can i make it so....when i mouse off of the links, my slider stays in the place when i moused out of it. so if i mouse out of the link "help", i want my slider to stay there (alpha=0), i don't want to follow my mouse. So when i mouse over "home"...the slider "slides" to the "home" link from the "help" link (where i moused off of it). Just like they have on sierra grill.

2. how can i keep it from rolling off the stage.
