    Nice,but not so impressive.
Those "drummers" are maded in a 3D app and all frames were exported as SWF file.
4425 frames and 3MB for few simple animations ...
    cheers

The most impressive things about this animation are the sound and the timing. Other than that most of the characters could have been duplicated to create a smaller file.

I believe that the animation is not what causes it to be so large.
The audio may be most of the culprit. It sounds like a little bit of compression was applied to sound [Washboard "vibrato" noise on some drums].

If this was done frame by frame it's a bit of waste. Now if they could lower the size and make it stream instead of loading that could be an impressive treat.

    Pro
Good audio and timing. Creative use of audio.
    Con
Could be a smaller file and streamed. Possibly done frame by frame for little effect.

Give it 8 out of 10. Just above average.

I think its cool and can only guess how the sound is lined up to the animations. But 3 megs is a little big. Then again, someone with dsl or cable would care less. And Everything is always eye candy.
Any programming language is at its best before it is implemented and used.

    Fair enough
The reason for that huge file (over 3MB) is the non-flash developing environment (that 3D modeler).
The most important disadvantage of using 3D tools for flash,is that you can't use symbols and tweens.
Each 3D animation frame is exported as a unique flash keyframe (and for this reason, the resulted SWF file size is huge).
    Now for TIM ...
Very easy to "line up the sound to the animations" when you have 4425 frames !
    cheers

I already had figured out how this person had made during the previewing. Wasn't a hard task at all. I just thought it was something a little different then the usual. With the weird music, the ball with the teeth and the guy inside it.

Quite impressive,, but I'm still asking "WHY",,,, the drum characters were the foremost attention seekers whilst the red sphere held all of the goodies. Silly way to sell an idea if you ask me. Which you didn't so SHHHhhhh.
