Video emails in MX require active x controls??

Hey dudes.... ive created some video using Flash MX Professional, my intention being to send this content out via email. However, ive found that outlook will not recognise the swf or flv file unless the "run active x controls and plugins" option is checked in security preferences of outlook.

Does anyone have ideas around this, as most people will obviously not want to touch email security for obvious reasons...

    Many thanks for any pointers

    Hi.
You can include an alternate .gif that the viewer sees if they do not have Active-X controls enabled.
The .gif can link to the video.

    You're welcome.
We have a lot of information about Flash email here:
    http://www.wildform.com/resources/gallery_email.php
It's oriented towards our software, but the same principles apply to any SWF file.
