    MX2004 help font size

    Hi-
My copy of MX2004 has decided to reduce the font size in the help panel to about 6pnt.

As my monitor is at 1152x864 this makes it pretty hard to read!

I cant find any preferences settings to change it back... how do I do it?

    hi

I had the same problem, open Microsoft internet explorer, click view>>>text size>>larger Now when you open flash the help files text will be bigger and readable. don’t ask me why Microsoft internet explore controls the text size in flash but it dose!? lol

    I hope this helps

    cheers

Cheers... I was wondering why my IE text sizes were small, but I rarely use IE so I wasnt bothered.

Actually- and this is obvioulsy why it happened - if you select some text in the help panel and press control and scroll the mousewheel, it changes text size.

But it was pretty hard reading the tiny text in the help to find that out!

    hey

that’s handy to know, I guess you must have pressed control and scrolled by accident, strange flash doesn’t have a reset sort of button or option to return everything to default values including the text size in the help panel

    cheers

reset sort of button or option

    ... re-install?

I've had to do that a couple of times with MX when the goddamn scrollbar in the timeline disappeared permanently!

    Hi

well reinstall works too but its a paint to have to keep on doing it, their should be a restore factory settings or something in flash to save having to reinstall flash

    Cheers
