Not at all. I read it incorrectly the first time around, and was very confused for a short period after that.

The only way is to hack your .dll files in the system32 folder but doing so wrongly will screw ur system up badly. Until stardock work out a better way to alter icons we all just gotta live with it unless u alter .dll's.

If this is the way u wanna go then sign upto aqua-soft.org and u can get all the modded .dll files and tutorials on how to change everything over....

Ah weak, well ill leave that one for now.

Hey man, could you give me a hand with your multipod config file. I've got some of it down, but on the media player bit i dont get the album art or track info. Also on the weather conditions i can get todays in metric but not the weekly forcast. Any ideas how to edit these. Do i need a certain type of id tags on my mp3s?

Also thanks for the ishut, its all working nicely now.

    Thanks

What bit cant u work out ?? As for the weather if i recall the script only allows for metric for the day but not sure as i havent really played with it for a while.

To get samurize to download the album art u need to have itunes use the plugin samurize would have installed for it. Click on Visualizer then the samurize plugin and then if ur tags are right it will get the album art from yahoo and show it.

Hey, yeah i have the samurize visualizer selected, but it doesnt seem to work still. Do i need a certain tag type? What have you got?

I have changed nothing from the config files in the multi-pod.rar i got here, so it should be working.

To change the weekly forecast to metric, you have to edit the config, and on the part where it should display the temperature, change the display from "%vºF" to "%vºC".

Alright el-Ignoramus? Still learning the new camera eh?

Here we go... lets stop thinking of the photo in terms of 'settings' and think in terms of what it actually is...

It is a night shot where the lights are shown over a length of time, being 'recorded' (if you like) by the CCD.

For these lights to be recorded over this time the shutter has to be open to allow the light in at each stage of it's course... so we set it to a shutter speed of several seconds (depending on the speed of the light and the effect you're after).

If you leave the shutter open for several seconds without regard to the apature (hole) settings then the light will flood the CCD and you will end up with a white image...

So we set the apeture setting to a high value (smaller hole). The G5 can set the hole to f8.0...

So... there we go... slow shutter speed to track light change in light and a high apeture setting to avoid flooding the CCD.

Now... to achieve this effect on the G5, change the mode to TV - Shutter Priority Mode (This allows you specify a shutter speed in seconds and it'll work out the apeture value).

So turn the dial to TV, set a shutter speed of a few seconds and depress the shutter release button, it'll display the chosen apeture setting (f2.0 - f8.0) and you simply take the photo, being careful not to shake the camera...

IF the apeture setting it has chosen appears in RED then the image will be over-exposed and you need to decrease the shutter speed...

    Hope this helps...

    Robb.

This is a very simple Panther theme for StyleXP...

The WMP skin is called 'Quicksilver' and I believe it's an official Microsoft release... try searching www.microsoft.com for it
