    The transition globe than spins when you click on a link. Can that be made in After Effects ? I see more and more have neat effects and i know they haven`t bothered to learn Maya or 3dsmax

    I know you can make some cool effects in AE but if you can create something like on this site as well i am impressed. Havent checked out AE before.

    i'd say a fair bit of that site looks like it was done in a 3d programme to me

    The 3D is too simple for that. Doing effects like this in Maya or 3Dsmax ? nah i refuse to believe that. This is video effects .. must be using some sort of top secret designer tool :P

    seriously looks like regular 3D with post-production in after effects or combustion to me.
