Dissabling a button bellow an object

Hi, if you download the attached FLA file and run it you can see 3 menu's, so far only skills and items work, but what I want to happen is this, when the Items menu is down it will dissable everything on the skills menu (all the buttons basicly) any ideas anyone?

Unexpected file format! You'd have a better chance of getting an answer if your .fla was in a MX only format.

You would have to save a copy of your MX2004 .fla, (using Save as...) and changing the Document type to MX only in the Save as... window.
Can't open your .fla.

Weird that is the forth time it has done that, but it is at mx2k4 format with AS2, i'll try attaching it again.
