    C.S.I

Any loyal fans on FK? I love this show (the original, that is). The plot lines, the variance of the cases, the characters, it all adds up to just a brilliant show.

    Comments?

Love the original, last series wasn't the greatest though.

Hate CSI Miami, it's everything the show shouldn't be, ridiculous rubbish.

Haven't seen CSI New York but, while I love gary sinise, the show looks more like CSI Miami than Las Vegas. Hope it's good.

Agreed. I tried to watch Miami, but it's just as though they're trying too hard. Caught the 1st episode of New York last week, and honestly it couldn't hold my attention for the whole hour.

I watch CSI waits for gerb's "overrated" speech
It's good. I get annoyed by some of the gibberish that they get wrong ("terminal velocity is 9.8 meters per second squared") and you can't enhance video that much. It just doesn't work that way!

My girlfriend refuses to watch CSI when I'm around for that very reason.

Sorry, but I can't not freak out when the case is solved (and it's always solved) thanks to impossible computer technology. That's just lazy writing plain and simple...

Gill Grisam: Waaiiiit a minute ... bring up that picture from the backyard.

Warrick: We've already looked at it a million times, it still doesn't prove that he was at the crime scene.

Gill Grisam: Zoom in on the guy behind the fence in the top right corner, bring it full screen. Enhance. Now erase that fence so we can get a better look at that his head...now turn his neck so we can get a good look at his face. Zoom in on his face, Enhance. Now add a mustache and compare him to our list of suspects.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have our killer. Let's go get him!

hahaha! Rediculous computer technology on any show gets me kind of angry if it's supposed to take place in the present. Why not say "Oh, and it takes place 20 years in the future." then maybe some of it would be believable.
It must be obvious day at camp stupid

The one thing I regret about getting into computers as a career is knowing when the movies and TV shows were talking pure BS. I was happier watching Hackers not knowing that it made no sense

I really enjoy the show, but what gets me about the computer bit is when they ask the operator to enhance something it means typing about 30 characters on the keyboard, instead of a mouse click and a return. If I had to do that much typing, well, I'd get a typewriter (shows age by using archaic word).

perhaps, those of you who moan about the computer technology should be asking yourselves this:

If CSI has it, why doesn't the rest of us have it? I think the damned government is keeping all the good technology to themselves and leaving us with crappy fuzzy black and white CCTV footage.

Seriously who cares about the flaws in the story when you can look at Angelina Jolie?
