I dont understand why it wont work but I followed the example in flash and for some unknown reason when ever i clicked the button (the two little arrows) the damn thing never went the the scene "template",
if anyone can tell me how to do it, it would be very much apreciated
WTF my flash must be meshed up cause this is like the fith time, it is already mx2k4 only format... damn must have been 7.2 update :'(

You'd have a better chance of getting an answer if your .fla was in a MX only format.
You would have to save a copy of your MX2004 .fla, (using Save as...) and changing the Document type to MX only in the Save as... window.
That said... Are you targeting a scene name? If so you can't target scene names from movie clips or movies loaded on other levels...
