I posted this ages ago in another forum, but in jest. I can't believe anyone would take seriosuly the idea that they would stick a transmitter in the middle of his back when there is plenty of room in the small of the back or under his arms.

Who knows what it is, it could be a bandaid or a heat pack for a sore back, and they don't want to admit to it, and I don't see why they should. But this is the kind of thing the internet(s) was built for.

I thought the response of mark mckinnon, media director of the bush campaign, was funny:

The only explanation I want from the Bush camp is what was wrong with him during the first debate? If they come out and say he had the flu and was drugged up, had another run in with a pretzle or was b***h slapped by Cheney one too many times, I'd buy it. But him being so far off his game without an explanation just leaves the field wide open to any apparent inconsistancy.

...and I like to hear people talking about the president's buldge; makes me nostalgic for the Clinton era...

I'll admit there's plenty of wild speculation but sometimes the ol internet(s) gets it right. how about those faked letters about Bush's national guard service? I think it was folks online who recognized the modern typeface and spoiled that one.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but it was never actually proven that they were forgeries, was it? What was admitted was that the source of the documents lied about where he got them from, and refused to say where he did to protect his source.

I thought all of the hub-bub about typefaces and superscripts had been more or less written off; I seem to remember one of the original people who objected to it later retracted his complaint.

Then again, I live in the same sound-bite world as anyone else and my attention span can't be trusted...

The only typewriter available that could have done the superscript with the font spacing and all that was 20,000 dollar typesetting maching that required a month of training to operate.

Now i'm not going to say the government doesn't waste money, but i doubt that the typesetting machine and skilled graphic artist would have been an air national gaurd unit. There were other errors besides the font and document, some of the language itself was suspect.

Anyway, back on the conspiracy front, I noticed a strange occurance in the AP stories today: there was an item on Bush saying he didn't care about the debates right above a story on Mt. St. Helen giving the sky an 'errie glow'. Anyone else thing Cheney is deep underground right now forging rings?

Maybe because it was a deliberate sleazy attempt by a "reputable" Network and Dan Rather to try and influence peoples attitude towards Bush and trying to affect his chances of being re-elected.

At the very least the should have been sacked.

I mean Democrats try to come across as the "principled" party, but they seem to want to shift attention on this one very quickly.

His guard record is out in the open from what I have read nothing shows that he failed or ran away from his duties, yet look at Kerry's Xmas in Cambodia claim.... now thats a different story.

If Bush wins this election (its possible he will ) he should refuse to ever do an interview with all the blatant biased reporters who have failed to do their basic duty to report. He should even make it his policy NOT to take any questions from these reporters during Press announcements.

Dan Rather is a self proclaimed "left" leaning thinker, and then there is the New York time editorials etc.

Its not a conspiracy, its a fact, and yes it works both ways, its just the hate for Bush for whatever reason seems to be more obvious and apparent.

Dan Rather is caught out red handed using forged documents to smear Bush. FACT

Then he holds on to his story refusing to admit what other document experts were telling him. FACT

Dan Rather finaly admits that he could NOT authenticate the documents, by now proven by professionals that they were forged. FACT

He keeps his Job as Anchorman at CBS. FACT

Coming from a neutral stand point on the debates [foriegn national!] Bush came across to me very childish, in all three debates. I think Bush would make decisions based on his ideals, rather than what's best for the country.

Kerry came across to me, as strong and gracious. I never heard bush make any attempt to say something good about Kerry. But Kerry managed to compliment Bush on quite a few things.

I've been living in the US for two years, and when I call home [Australia] all my family and friends ask me if I am gonna vote to get rid of bush. Right now the world hates America, it's really sad. I love living here, the people [mostly ] are great. It's a shame the gov't sucks. I dunno if Kerry is the answer, but hopefully he'll do better than Bush, if he gets elected.

Speaking of bias in the news, I really thought it was funny when Bush more or less called CBS biased (then he remembered that the moderator was from CBS):

...What I really want to know is what in the f he was talking about when he was mentioning pay-go system. Sounded like a bushism but you never know!
