moving text

Hi experts,

I have finally inserted a scrollbar, and I am able to move the text up and down, but while doing so, the text content does not move in a straight line, it tends to get crooked. Not sure where I am going wrong. Would appreciate your response.

Could you post the swi file so we can see how you have scripted the scroll action. If you are just using a move for the scroll action make sure it is indeed perfectly straight.

hi,

hard to tell without seeing the swi. i assume the scroller works using a move effect. try this: doubleclick on the move effect, and in the move settings panel set "x position" to "unchanged".

if this doesn't help, please post the swi.

Thankyou very much! I changed the X postion to "unchanged" and now its working fine
