Good people of flashkit, I was looking through my referrer logs for my photoblog, mute, and noticed that I had been nominated for photoblog of the year at the '2004 weblog awards', but it's doing rather poorly in the vote!

If anyone likes my stuff and wants to help out vote here!, check out the other photoblogs there too, and vote for the one you like. There are some great ones out there!

Again, thanks for the support but I wanted to let you know I've asked for my site to be removed from the list of nominees.

I was always hesitant about the site because why would any awards site let people vote once a day unless it's just trying to drive traffic, so, while I mentioned it here, I haven't on mute.

Then someone sent me an email which prompted me to take a better look at the awards site. It seems that it's a front for a right wing political group in the states. While I have nothing against right wing political groups having awards sites I don't want to be associated with them.
