I downloaded the phpdev5 app and tried to install that. It instal's fine but i cant get the mySQL running i checked out the services in the Apache server and opened up the mySql properties and the path for it is totally wrong and i cant change the path through the properties. I uninstall and install it but the path stays the same. The path is from a tut i did trying to install it by myself but it didnt work so i just got the pack. I dont know how to change the path in the Apache services? Mysql path.

    Thanks in Advance

I dont get how its making that directory. When i tried to install mysql by itself it said to create a my.cfg or a my.ini file with some directories in it and that what i did. And that didnt work properly so i got the phpdev5 pack. And installed that and for some reason apache routes the mysql services directory to the one in the inf but i cant seem the change it. Please help. All i want to know is how do i change the path in the services section on the apache server.

    Path to executable

    C:/webServer/mysql/bin/mysqld-nt.exe

when i want it to be something else in a different directory of c but in the area where the C:/webServer/mysql/bin/mysqld-nt.exe resides i cant change it.
