GRRR Framerate probs...please check and report average FPS

Hey guys, I kno I already posted a similar post but im having probs tracking down this framerate prob. Ive stuck a framerate component on the site so it can be monitored at runtime, as well as the average FPS. Ive found on my comp (2.6ghz w/ a GeForceMX 440 64MB card, 512MB 800mhz system ram) that the average usually floats around 23-24FPS and the actual FPS jumps around from like 20-30...my worry lies in this jumping anyone have any clues to what it might be? I thought it might just be because ive got lots of vector graphics flying around and stuff, but it doesn't sit well with me that this could be the problem when the FPS jumps up and down like it does. Ive tried it on a couple other comps too, choppy FPS...GRRR messin up my animations anyhow thanks in advance for your help, the URL to check it out is http://www.couchboys.com/testing/index.html
