Illuminatus!
I cant open my trunk.
Yup, thats all there is to this thread. I got a new car and donating my last one, and I cant open my trunk of my last one.
There is no inside switch to open it, and when I try to open the lock with a key, the lock just turns with the key (the screws are loose from inside the trunk). I tried jabbing the side with a pocketknife so it'd stay still but no avail.
I have a snowskate, some jumpercables, and a couple dead bodies inside, so any tips would be helpful to open it.

Well, he's donating. Don't want to trash it before giving it away.

cut through the floor of the trunk and pull it out that way. Then they won't know anythings wrong with it until they open the trunk, or if youhave a carpet over the hole then when they start putting stuff in it. Its a win-win situation.
It must be obvious day at camp stupid

Can you lower the back seats? Or try removing them. A SUV crashed into the back of my father's car once, and the trunk was so mangled there was no way to open it, so he had to remove the back seats so he could get his luggage out of the car.

That would be like giving a homeless guy counterfeit money. Yeah he wouldnt know, but that would defeat the whole purpose of charity to begin with.
@gesteves: Thanks, but its a coupe (toyota tarcell), so there are no back 'seats', its just one couch-thing.

locksmith or car shop. they'll remove the core and open it that way for you. might cost you about 30-50 bucks though.
had to do that once in my first car... a '64 Impala. stupid swing arm for the lock wouldn't disengage the mechanism. pissed me off to the highest level of pisstivity.
