Dont look to hard at the threshold pics up top, they are still a WIP.

It's nicely design I must say. I think you could do without the smoke effect...it doens't fit in. Comment box looks good on the bottom.

If you lose the smoke - maybe add the bright light behind the select button instead. Site is really good!! Very nice design!!!

i like the smoke effect, it's enough. Maybe if the the Buttons text would be other color it would be a bit better ( that white is hard to read ).

    Cheers

nice job as always NRD few things, now im on another comp and i still get the scrollbar, im on a 1124x768...i wonder why b/c u had enough room to kill on my other screen...hmmm i like the smoke especially since u toned it down a bit - much better, it add to the band's personality but maybe loose some spinds on the buttons, its alittle to fast. i also agree about the text on the buttons, its hard to read..maybe just using a white and set the alpha to 70, to add some more contrast?? nice effect with the logo...with the whole"shine" thing...nicely done.

    Thats how it was first

Dunno...maybe I need to do an effect on the words that make it looked carved into the button..instead of just being the text with a glow

that actually sounds alot better b/c u already have a stone texture on the buttons, it would look nice if something was carved in them, kinda like a tombstone

i like the smoke, and the stone textures look really great. you coudl always have the smoke play when you're over a button, but have it fade out after you click on it. since the button flips, you know which section is active. that way the smoke doens't get overdone, but it's still in there as a nice touch.
    it's all in the details
