Advice needed on a potentially life-altering decision.

I've suspected for some time now that my gf has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my gf. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was while I was crouched behind my car that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch.

Should I take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from the local auto shop and try to repair it myself?

If you can do the work, your best off doing it yourself.. but do it before it gets any worse.. good luck.

Regarding your girlfriend, if she's always wondering why you're checking up on her, maybe you have a reason to not trust her.

This is Serious (I mean the rust). Get it sorted by the professionals, it costs money, but you'll sleep easier.

Haha, that confused me for a minute.
I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

Here's some info on DIY body rust repair.

Note: Some of the steps shown in this segment feature specialized tools such as welding tools and plasma cutters for cutting away metal. If you are not experienced in welding or metal work, you may want to consider leaving major rust repair to professionals....
Perhaps you can get your girlfriend and her "chauffeur" to operate the plasma cutter for you!

Cars are a sacred possession that must be taken care of and constantly nurchured. They can be your best friend and your worst enemy. If you fail to provide the necessary service and upkeep they will go astray. If you even suspect your car is acting up and may break down very soon, it is usually already too late -- It is past it's expiration date. You MUST trade it in for a new model.
