Not sure where else to post this - Need help with Director
I am trying to bring in some video. When I bring it from the cast to the stage I want the entire length of the video to appear not just 30 or so frames
Or...I wonder if there is any way for me to direct the program to play the ENTIRE video clip WITHOUT having to display the whole video - all the thousands of frames -- across the score.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have some experience with Director, but you don't give much info. For example you say you have some video, but you don't say what format. If it is QuickTime you can go to your TEMPO area on the Timeline and look at the menu...toward the bottom click the radio button that has you "hold for cue" or some such. Then use the arrow for the drop down menu that shows the various cues in the QT video...likely there will only be s beginning and end cue. OK, click the hold for end cue and the timeline will hold until the video has played. I only used avi for short video so I just extended the timeline for that media. If it bothers you to have such a long timeline you could convert your video to QT or learn the Lingo it takes to manipulate the timeline to fit the avi video.
