Creating our own players
What would be necessary to create our own players to use with Video created with Flix Pro? Is there someway to use the functionality with our own look for buttons or and number of buttons already with Flix Pro?
I especially like the 3 button VCR look that I've seen on the net for audio with the first button used for play as well as feedback for loading.
Can our own players be built with Flix Pro? Can be built with Macromedia Flash 2004 MX and used with Flix Pro? I hesitate to buy Flash just to build players - wonder if Swish could build players to be used with Flix Pro? ... or maybe this is what Linx is for (I just figured out Linx is not the Linux version of Flx... hmmm) Can Linix edit and create Flash Action Script?
If we do have our own players, is it possible to include our own players in the Flix Pro create player dialog? - if not how would we use with Flix Pro video? I tried adding a player name name to the player list, but it did not show up in the dialog.
Interested in discussion and options.

Yes you can. This is described in detail in the help file including the specification for the players.
Flix Pro comes with 2 sample player .fla's. You can edit these in Macromedia Flash.
You can also create your own from scratch.
We also sell the Power Players pack which includes over 130 additional player .swf's that work with Flix pro.

So we need to have Flash to edit the .fla file? I was hoping to avoid purchasing Macromedia Flash to just edit a few buttons. Are there other packages that we should consider that are less expensive.

Macromedia Flash is the only software that edits fla's.
